Flowers accompany people throughout their lives, arouse pleasant feelings with their beauty and symbolize the youth of nature. They have inspired artists of different times and countries and appeared in painting, graphic art and handicrafts. “Flower Waltz” is based on the painting of the first Russian porcelain service “Sobstvennyi”, made by the creator of the house porcelain D.I. Vinogradov for Elizabeth I in the middle of the 18th century. The continuous ornament in the decoration was the “trellis” popular at that time. The intersections of the gilded lines are marked with purple and blue forget-me-nots.
“Flowers and Butterflies” and “Flowers and Fruits” are classics of the genre. The precision and sophistication of color relations, decoration and form, the desire to emphasize the aristocratic character of the material and the extreme generalization of the image are characteristic of the works of contemporary authors. Flowers of the meadow or garden, in bouquets or fragments, bloom on porcelain, bloom forever.
Delicate filigree floral motifs, nets and dots, applied in natural gold, play with the snow-white surface of the pieces, complementing the light, bright image, emphasizing the fragility of the material, the graceful shape and nobility of porcelain pieces.
